
On 20 May 2026, the AMPS consortium met in Maastricht (The Netherlands) for a project meeting hosted by project partner HaikuTech.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review the progress achieved across the different work packages and to align upcoming activities. Discussions covered the entire Solid Oxide Cell manufacturing value chain, including developments in cell production, interconnector manufacturing, stack assembly and automation technologies.
Partners also exchanged updates on the development of the digital twin framework, as well as ongoing cost and life-cycle assessment (LCA) activities, which are essential to quantify the economic and environmental benefits of the manufacturing improvements being developed within the project.
In addition, the consortium discussed the future role of SOC technologies in the European energy landscape, addressing opportunities and challenges related to industrial deployment and market uptake.
The meeting highlighted the strong collaboration among AMPS partners and the shared commitment to advancing innovative, sustainable and cost-effective manufacturing solutions for next-generation SOFC and SOEC technologies.
