AMPS Project Meeting in Liberec – Focus on Advanced Manufacturing for SOC Technologies

On June 5, 2025, the AMPS project partners met in Liberec, Czech Republic, for a project meeting hosted by VÚTS a.s., one of the technical partners of the consortium.

The meeting brought together over 20 participants from partner organizations across Finland, Estonia, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, and the Czech Republic. It was a valuable opportunity to share updates, align on upcoming tasks, and strengthen collaboration on the project's core objective:
developing an automated, high-performance, and cost-effective production line for Solid Oxide Cell (SOC) components, enabling their large-scale deployment in energy systems.

During the meeting, partners discussed:

  • Progress in the design of the modular pilot production line;
  • Automation strategies for different stages of SOC component manufacturing;
  • Process control and quality assurance approaches;
  • The role of digital tools, including simulation and monitoring systems, to support optimization and flexibility.

The day also included a guided tour of VÚTS’s facilities, where participants had the chance to see the advanced machinery, prototyping equipment, and testing environments that will contribute to the realization of AMPS objectives.

The AMPS consortium warmly thanks the VÚTS team — Jan Kolář, Martin Leskovjan, and Jan Kolník — for the excellent organization and hospitality.
